Does it really cost $1,500/player?
Yes, and the Team registration fee includes the cost of all tournament games, player shuttle (hotel to/from Fields), and other costs associated with the operation of a tournament in this tropical paradise.
What if I don't have a Team?
No Problem Mon, you can join one of our Free Agent Teams: Lady Wailers or Zion Warriors. Both are in the Women's and Men's Open categories.
Can I play on 2 different teams (in the same or different divisions)?
NO! NO! & NO! Please help us avoid any conflicts by only participating on one team. Thanks!
How many games will we play over the two days?
Our goal is to maximize your time on the field and still allow team members time to tour the tropical paradise of Jamaica. Hopefully that includes at least 2 games on each day. The final game count is obviously determined by the final number of teams registered.
What rules are we playing by?
Each division follows rules based on the current NCAA Men's & Women's rules with modifications for club play. A rules link will be placed on the "Game Info" link as we get closer to the event date. HS division plays regular HS rules with time and other tournament modifications. For example: running time penalties.
Is the Tournament Fee Non-Refundable?
Yes, of course it is. Hey, a lot of planning goes into this type of event and we rely on registered teams to hold up their end of the equation. Obviously, if we do not hold the event we would refund all entry fees received (less any CC transaction costs). That only applies if the fault is on our end. Remember, we are counting on your team to follow through with its commitment to play, as well as the other teams who have registered.
What is the level of competition?
That is a tough one to answer as we don't have control of what teams enter. However, we anticipate a competitive field in each division as our experience with traveling club teams is good. If all the teams fall into place that are in the planning process then we would have a nationally recognized competitive field.
What's the name of the Hotel?
The Tournament Hotel is Breezes Runaway Bay Resort & Golf Club! An all-inclusive hotel; meaning that once you arrive you don't pay for anything in the hotel including food, drinks, use of gym, water sports, etc. Click the hotel page to get more information and rate info!
Does the hotel per person room rate include airfare?
NO, the listed room rate is for the hotel only and is subject to increase based on availability so it's best to book early. Individuals book their own air and you'll fly in and out of Montego Bay Airport.
Is the room rate guaranteed?
The room rates listed on this site are NOT Guaranteed until booked and is based on space availability. The the later you register the greater the chances are that you will NOT receive the discounted rate listed. Hotels in Jamaica operate differently from those in the US. Payments and deposits are taken at the time a contract is drawn up. Its impossible for us to hold a block of rooms for an indefinite amount of time.
When should we book rooms if my group is interested?
IMMEDIATELY! We are not kidding about this one. The hotel is very popular, especially during that time of the year. Have your team leader contact the tournament director ASAP to get started.
What Airline do you suggest?
We suggest that you leave your options wide open on this one. It really just depends on your departure city and the travel time frame.

Is the Hotel kid friendly?
Somewhat, but hotel guests must be at least age 14. That's why we only offer a U19 high school division of play. NOTE HS groups must have an adult chaperon staying in each room. NO EXCEPTIONS!
Can we save money by placing 4 to a room?
NO! Jamaican law/hotel policy does not permit 4 to share a room. All guest must be registered and paid for individually. You can go up to 3 per room max. With three to a room you really only save about $15/person/night so its best to stick to 2 per room.
Does the Hotel have a Golf Course?
YES! The hotel is actually a golf resort with a wonderful course on property. There is also tennis courts and a gym.
Are Sightseeing Tours included?
NO! All sightseeing tours are booked and paid for on an individual basis. However Chukka Adventures, the largest tour operator on that side of the island, is offering our participants special deals on all tours booked with them. Let us know if you'd like more information about sightseeing tours!
Do we need a Rental Car?
NO! The hotel rate includes round trip transportation to and from the airport. The Team entry fee includes round trip shuttle to and from the fields for all players only. Non-playing guests can purchase a weekend field shuttle pass for $40US. Trust me on this one, you don't want to drive in Jamaica!!
Do we choose our own roommates?
YES! Team leaders will provide this information to during the booking process.
