Dr. A. Norman Webb Jr. Lacrosse Service Award

Honoring "the Godfather of San Diego Lacrosse"

The EMW Foundation is hosting its annual San Diego Lacrosse Dinner & Silent Auction on Saturday, May 12th, 6:00pm at the Firehouse Museum in Little Italy. The Foundation with the help of Jim Salscheider, a lifelong friend of Dr. Webb’s, has created the Dr. A. Norman Webb Jr. Lacrosse Service Award to recognize those who teach respect for the game “where everyone is important no matter how strong or how weak”.

Congratulations to the 2006 Recipients: Dennis & Bonnie Yeatman!

The recipient (s) receives an all inclusive trip to the National Lacrosse Convention held on the east coast each January by US Lacrosse. This award was created in honor of the “Godfather of San Diego Lacrosse”; Dr. A. Norman Webb Jr. Dr. Webb is responsible for just about all of the lacrosse we see in the San Diego Community today. He excelled in all aspects of the game but his greatest passion was the teaching that he did. Help us continue a great man’s legacy by nominating someone today!
